This Privacy Policy explains how Lucas Salon LLC (“Lucas Salon,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use lucas-salon.com, book with us, visit the salon, buy products, join a membership, or otherwise deal with us.

By using our website, booking an appointment, creating a client profile, or buying a product, membership, or gift certificate, you agree to this Policy.

1. WHO THIS COVERS

This Policy covers information we collect:

• On our website
• Through online booking (currently Booker)
• By phone, text, or email
• In the salon
• When you buy products, gift certificates, or a membership

It does not control third-party sites or apps we link to, including Booker, payment processors, or social media. Those companies have their own policies.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect what we need to run the salon. That may include:

Contact and identity

Name, phone, email, mailing address, and date of birth if you give it to us (for example junior services, membership, or age-restricted complimentary wine).

Booking and salon records

Appointment history, services requested and performed, stylist notes, preferences, membership status, gift certificate numbers, and front-desk notes.

Payment

Billing details and a card on file through our booking and payment vendors. We do not store full card numbers on paper or on our website if the processor keeps the token instead.

Limited service information

Information you give us so we can service you safely, such as color history, extensions from another salon, allergies, scalp or skin concerns, pregnancy, and medications that matter for waxing or chemical services (including retinoids). Give us only what is needed for the service.

Photos and video

Photos and video of finished work, the salon floor, and staff. Other guests may appear in the background. See section 8.

Website and device data

IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, dates and times, referring site, and cookie or pixel data.

We do not use security cameras in the salon.
We do not require you to enter sweepstakes or sign up for unrelated third-party offers to use the salon.

3. HOW WE COLLECT IT

• You give it to us when you book, check in, email, text, call, buy something, join a membership, or fill out a form
• Staff enter it in our booking system
• Automatically when you use the website (cookies, pixels, server logs)
• From payment and booking vendors when you pay or schedule
• Photos and video taken in the salon for content, education, and social media

4. HOW WE USE IT

We use information to:

• Book, confirm, change, and remind you of appointments
• Perform services and keep a service history
• Process payments, tips, membership dues, gift certificates, late-cancel fees, and no-show fees
• Handle redos, product exchanges, and client questions
• Send transactional messages (reminders, billing, cancellation, membership)
• Send marketing emails or texts only if you have opted in
• Improve the website, services, and training
• Protect clients, staff, and the business (including investigating no-shows, chargebacks, or misconduct)
• Comply with law, bookkeeping, and insurance
• Photograph and film finished work and the salon for education and social media, as described in section 8

We do not sell, rent, or lease our client list.

5. TEXTS AND EMAILS

Transactional messages

We may email, call, or text you about appointments, running late, billing, membership payments, and similar service messages. These are not marketing.

Marketing

Promotional emails and promotional texts are sent only if you opt in.

• Marketing texts: reply STOP
• Message and data rates may apply
• You can also email info@lucas-salon.com and ask to be removed from marketing

Opting out of marketing does not stop appointment and billing messages we need to serve you.

6. COOKIES AND ADS

We use cookies and similar tools to run the site, remember preferences, measure traffic, and (if installed) deliver or measure advertising.

You can block cookies in your browser. Some site features may not work if you do.

We may use pixels in emails to see if a message was opened.

7. WHO WE SHARE WITH

We share information only as needed:

• Booking software (currently Booker)
• Payment processors
• Email, text, and website vendors (including our site host)
• Professional advisors (accountant, lawyer, insurer) when required
• Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety, or property
• A buyer if the salon is sold, under a duty to protect the information

Vendors may process data only to provide their service to us. They have their own privacy policies.

We do not sell personal information.

8. PHOTOS AND VIDEO

We photograph and film finished work, the salon, and staff for education, training, and social media. Other guests and staff may appear in the background. We cannot always control who is visible in a wide shot, mirror, or video.

If you do not want your face used as the focus of a photo or video, tell us before the service. We will honor a clear opt-out for close-ups and tagged or identifiable features of you.

We may still use salon footage where you are not the subject (for example you are in the background, reflected in a mirror, or not identifiable). If you want to be kept out of background shots that day, tell the front desk when you check in and we will try to avoid filming your chair.

Reviews you post on Google, Booker, or social media are public on those platforms.

We do not use security cameras in the salon.

9. CHILDREN

We do not knowingly collect personal information on the website from children under 13.

Salon records for guests under 18 are kept with the parent or guardian relationship in mind. A parent or guardian should book and manage those appointments.

10. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

• Client and booking records: while you are an active client and for a reasonable period after, including as needed for tax, bookkeeping, chargebacks, and legal claims
• Membership and gift certificate records: for as long as the account or balance may matter, plus records we must keep
• Marketing lists: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we do not email or text you again
• Website logs: a short operational period
• Photos and video: as long as we use them for education, training, or social media, or until we agree to take down a focused image of you after a reasonable request

We may keep a record that you asked us to delete marketing contact.

11. YOUR CHOICES

You may:

• Correct your name, phone, email, or card on file (ask the front desk or email us)
• Opt out of marketing emails and marketing texts as described above
• Opt out of being the focus of a photo or video before the service; ask the desk if you want us to avoid filming your chair that day
• Ask what contact and booking information we have, and ask us to correct it
• Ask us to delete what we no longer need

Email info@lucas-salon.com. We may need to verify it is you. We may keep information the law, tax rules, insurance, or an existing dispute requires us to keep. We cannot delete a third-party company’s copy (for example a charge on your card statement or a Booker backup) for you.

12. SECURITY

We use reasonable safeguards and rely on our vendors’ security for booking and payments. No website or salon system is perfectly secure. Do not send full card numbers by email or text.

13. LINKS AND THIRD PARTIES

Our site may link to Instagram, Facebook, Booker, or other sites. Their practices are not ours. Read their policies before you give them information.

14. CHANGES

We may update this Policy. The new “Last updated” date will be posted on this page. For material changes we will also email the address on file when we have it. Continued use after an update is acceptance.
