After 31 Combined Years In The Hair Industry...
Derek and Kim decided it was time to go on their own and create a space where they could make all their ideas come to life. Derek got into the management side of the industry 18 years ago, while Kim began an apprenticeship and worked her way up.
Derek and Kim are both very driven and passionate about the industry, and they felt as though they could create an environment that is unrivaled in services and experience for the customer, as well as creating a thriving workplace for themselves and their team. My name is Sarah, and I’ve been a professional hairstylist for 7 years. My passion for hair began when I was younger, working at my aunt’s salon and learning from her. I then spent 6 years as a salon assistant while attending Paul Mitchell Hair School, graduating in 2019. From there, I continued to grow my knowledge and techniques at Lucas Salon, where I perfected my craft and fell in love with the art of coloring, vivid shades, extensions, and lived-in color. Outside of the salon, I love painting, cooking with my husband, and spending time with our two cats at home. I am dedicated to providing a personalized experience that ensures you leave feeling and looking your absolute best. I look forward to helping you achieve the hair of your dreams!

I’m Kim, a stylist with 13 years of experience, having earned my cosmetology license through an apprenticeship. I share my life with my husband, and our 3-year-old son. My passion in hairdressing lies with hair extensions; I love the transformation they bring and the confidence they instill in my clients. Beyond the salon, I’m an avid equestrian, enjoying both riding and competing. I love to spend time with my family, and watch my son learn and grow. I also enjoy skiing, trying new restaurants, and getting lost in a good book!

Hi! I’m Alison, a level 4 stylist here at Lucas Salon! I’ve been in the hair industry for over 7 years. In my junior and senior years of high school, I took the cosmetology course at Pinkerton, and from there, I went to Empire Beauty School. My favorite services to provide are lived-in blondes and blonding in general. I would also love to step even further into the extension world! When I’m not at the salon, I love to spend time with my dog, taking him for walks and swimming in the summertime. I can’t wait to meet you and make your hair goals come to life!

Hi there! I’m Derek, a level 1 stylist here at Lucas Salon! I have been in the hair industry since 2022, where I started out as a receptionist and later apprenticed under Kim Lucas. I always knew I loved all things hair since a young age, and I’m extremely thankful for my Lucas squad for making that dream into a career. Throughout my apprenticeship, I made strong connections with clients while gaining hands-on experience with our master stylists. When I’m not in the salon, you can find me playing video games, going to the movie theater, and playing with my cat, Jumpa. I can’t wait to see you in my chair and help you reach your hair goals!

Hello! My name is Katrina, a Level 1 stylist here at Lucas Salon. After completing two years of hands-on learning experience at Nashua High School North, I continued my education at Empire Beauty School where I obtained my license. I am passionate about creating lived-in, custom color looks and designing all-day, picture-perfect hair for life’s biggest events! Bringing together the industry’s newest trends and techniques with your hair goals is what I love to do!
